As part of the ongoing commitment to enhance campus safety, Bridgewater State University is offering students, faculty and staff a personalized mobile safety app for their smartphones called "BSU Guardian". The app offers users the ability to initiate a panic call to the BSU Police while on campus. Users can create a personal safety network and set a "safety timer" session to let their assigned guardians monitor their status. The app also features a tip line linked directly to BSU PD and a direct 911 line to centers nationwide for safety off campus.
