An article written by Dr. Jenny Shanahan, director of Undergraduate Research, has been accepted for publication in the CUR Quarterly, which is published by the Council on Undergraduate Research.
The article, “Research-Informed Practice, Practice-Informed Research: The Integral Role of Undergraduate Research in Professional Disciplines” will appear in the journal’s summer issue.
The editors said the article “will be a great resource for CUR Quarterly readers from a variety of disciplines and professional schools.”
BSU’s undergraduate research program is held up as a model at colleges and universities across the U.S. The Council on Undergraduate Research is an organization devoted to supporting and promoting high-quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship, according to its website.
